BECM logo

BECM is organizing the second edition of its Cryo-EM workshop. This course is mainly targeted at novice users and people that want to get an introduction into Cryo-EM its possibilities and its limitations. The course is spread over three days and covers the basics of the technology from image formation, sample preparation, imaging and data processing. During the first two days of the workshop practical hands-on demos and lectures will be given. In the practical parts you will be able to handle the cryo-plunger, the screening microscopes (JEOL1400) and the high-end microscope (CryoARM 300). In addition you will get a hand-on introduction to data processing. On the third day you will join the user meeting in which you will be introduced to real life projects and solutions during lectures and poster presentations.
